Yes. It is a yearly membership of €99 that renews automatically every 12 months, so your benefits never lapse. We remind you before each renewal, and you can cancel anytime from your account without penalty. No hidden charges.

It applies as a direct discount on any solar system contracted through SunVolt, within 24 months of joining. The credit stays active even if the 12-month membership has expired and was not renewed, so you don’t lose it if you don’t renew immediately. It is non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash.

No, it is not a raffle: no part of the club involves a prize draw. The Award is an annual awards programme based on applications: members submit files and a jury selects the winner using criteria published in the rules. And yes, it is completely free for the winner: the solar system (worth up to €10,000) is a full gift from SunVolt Club, with end-to-end installation included. Your €99 fee gives you the right to apply, along with all other member benefits, but does not “buy” the prize: that is won on merit.

Yes, with one honest note: the digital benefits (assessment, report, online partner discounts) work anywhere in the EU/EEA, but installations are delivered in the areas covered by our installer network, which we keep expanding. The current delivery area is published in the Terms. If you own a property in Romania, you are fully covered today.

Yes. You have a legal 14-day right of withdrawal from joining, under EU law. Full details on the Right of Withdrawal page.

The €250 credit stays active for 24 months from joining, even if the 12-month membership has expired and you didn’t renew, you don’t lose it at expiry. Eligibility for the Green Home Award requires active membership. If your membership expires and you don’t renew, you can no longer apply for the current edition. You can renew any time and become eligible again for future editions.

Yes: the system, not the membership fee. The €99 membership fee is paid in full each year, not in instalments. For the solar system itself, members can request instalment financing options through our banking partners: you pay a monthly instalment to the lender, and in many cases the instalment is comparable to the savings on your energy bill. You tick “I’d like instalment financing” when you request your offer from your account, and a consultant presents the options available for your situation.
